Per LSUSports.net: The LSU men’s basketball team defeated Georgia, 72-67, Wednesday to advance to the second round of the SEC Tournament in Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena.

LSU forward KJ Williams led the way for the Tigers with 18 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Guard Trae Hannibal finished the game with a double-double. He had 14 points and 11 rebounds with one assist.

No. 14 LSU will play Vanderbilt in the 8:30 p.m. CT game that will air on the SEC Network. The game can also be heard on the LSU Sports Radio Network affiliates.
