LSU Baseball coach Jay Johnson landed a commitment from right-handed pitcher Kolby Stringer on Monday.

The Foxworth, Miss. (West Marion), native committed to LSU over Ole Miss and Mississippi State. He was previously committed to Pearl River CC.

This kid plays across the river from where my son plays ball. At one point he was leading the state in strikeouts and was ranked top 10 nationally in strikeouts. Will be a great addition to the LSU Tigers!
