SCOTT CLAUSE/USA TODAY Network
LSU failed to earn a host spot for an NCAA baseball regional on Sunday as Baton Rouge was not named among the 16 host sites.

The Tigers will now hit the road for postseason play.

The same people that thought a team that can't field was gonna have a #2 RPI a couple weeks ago, win the SEC Tournament, was as good as Tennessee on friday night, etc. They are who we thought they were, average at best

Do not agree with this. Auburn goes 1 and done aginst KY. LSU beats Ky in first game going away. Plays No1 Tn is a close contest. Without 2 of there best hitters. In which I think we may have beat Tn with them. Then lose to Ky in a sloppy performance. All why Auburn is home watching on tv. Before that we swept Vanderbilt at home in convincing fashion. LSU should have gotten the regional host. They had a full healthy lineup and lost a single illumination game. The committee sucks. GEAUX TIGERS!!

You can disagree all you want. They finished with essentially the same SEC record and overall record, Auburn whooped LSU's arse in BR and played a better non-conference schedule. When you don't play anybody non-conference and load the schedule with 1AA's midweek, you're gonna get passed over. It's good for them, maybe they'll quit scheduling arse OOC.

This team didn't earn a host spot. It would be a major embarrassment to be 0-2 as a host if 'that' LSU team shows up for the regional. Hope and Hope the better LSU team shows up next weekend.

LSU is a very inconsistent & error prone team that’s struggled against better pitching, which is just about ALL they’ll get from here on.

Missing two of our best hitters! I guess the committee doesn’t take that into consideration

Even though Florida sucked all season (15-15 vs LSU 17-13), they had higher RPI (12 vs LSU 25) and went 4-2 in SEC tournament vs, well 1-2. Getting swept by Ole Miss did not help. Maybe they go take Hattiesburg and are Not paired with Knoxville again

Losing to the 12 seed in the SEC tournament will do that.

The SEC TOURNAMENT HAS NOT MATTERED IN THIS UNTIL NOW. It’s always a moving target. That’s John Cohen did this again.

I’m pretty confident in saying that it has much more to do with getting swept by Ole Miss than losing to Kentucky in the SEC tourney

Southern Miss has some really talented starting pitchers this season. Im not sure LSU should be hoping for that draw?
