According to a report from the Orlando Sentinel, former Florida QB and Edgewater High School football coach Chris Leak is being investigated for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl on September 5 of this year.

The alleged incident on Sept. 5 was reported Monday. It reportedly occurred on Sept. 5 in the athletic trainer office near the football field, according to an investigative report.

Leak allegedly asked the girl to give him a massage. He came out from the shower wearing only a towel, the report said.

The girl told detectives that she massaged his back legs and he asked her to massage the front of his legs, the report said.

I have a 16 year-old and this is concerning. Some of these comments are moronic. It happened at a high school where Leak is coaching- you know, where are kids are at school. It has nothing to do with happening at U of Florida. It is a bad situation in society when adults make sexual advances to teenagers. Our kids are at risk from all kinds of evils in our world.

I'm not saying it didn't happen...I'm just wondering why a 16 year old girl is in the vicinity of a showering coach, and alone long enough to give a massage? And why is she giving a massage anyway, even if it was only going to be the back of the legs. Seems like the whole thing was inappropriate from the start.

First this happened in Florida so this isn't a stunner of a story its just everyday activity there.
Second the money to be made here is not on his TOPPS football card but rather the financial windfall will be made by those neighbors of his who will be receiving his sex offender registry & notification card in the mail.
