Steve Sarkisian Tries To Save Face With Nick Saban Tweet
Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports
Steve Sarkisian left Alabama for Falcons offensive coordinator job on Tuesday with rumors swirling that he and head coach Nick Saban weren't getting along. Sarkisian tried to address the rumors with this tweet...

Not buying it.

E$PN has already reported the Pete Carroll coaching tree as a whole are/were unhappy with the way Lane was treated and Sark is happy as hell to be out of there (saved by another branch of the Carroll coaching tree). Yardbarker & Alabama can spin it all they want (if they want) but Alabama burned the bridge with the Carroll disciples and won't get another one no matter how much they want them.

I thought they were long time friends. Why do we assume there's hostility? He got a promotion.

Sark had enough of Saban's antics and 1 NC in 4 years isn't as special as it used to be.

Several people don't like Saban. Does Larry really think he's reading between the lines here with the tweet? Dare I say, Sark was just being professional.

Doesn't get along with Saban? Who does? Pretty sure it's about winning championships and not making friends! Lol

I read somewhere that as we age, our personality traits become more ingrained. Coach Saban's "process" is unquestionable, but his method of executing the process has rubbed a LOT of people the wrong way.

ATL will remain a strong offensive team and Dark will be successful at OC. Weird that he can do something Savannah could never do...be successful in the NFL.

Dark Savannah? Are you talking about coaches or writing an African mystery novel?

Going 0-1 in the biggest college game gets you a OC job in the NFL. Impressive, Saban. Impressive.

Edit, getting fired for being a drunk from you college job, then going 0-1 in your bounce back OC job gets you and NFL OC gig.
