Alabama destroyed Notre Dame in the 2013 BCS championship game 42-14, claiming the third of what would be six national championships for head coach Nick Saban at the program. Former ND star Manti Te'o recently sat down to talk about the game, and what he remembers about how intimidating the Crimson Tide were that night in Florida...

Easiest money I ever made other than the Giants/Pats 2007 SuperBowl. There was no way ND was going to beat them.

To think if Les Miles hadn't kicked off Honey Badger, he would've guarded and shut down the TJ Yeldon screen from the Nickelback position, and LSU would've probably been in that Nati Game.

*If Honey Badger had cared enough about his teammates and LSU that he avoided the dope and followed the rules for a few short months. FIFY.

Fick off, old man.

Les Miles punishing anyone but especially Tyrann Mathieu is pathetically poetic considering the loving piece of shite Miles was and remains.

Anybody that knew anything about football never questioned the outcome of this game. The Bama-UGA game was the national championship just like the 2009 Bama-Florida game.

Color me shocked, the guy with an imaginary girlfriend was “intimidated”.

Everyone who knew anything about football knew that ND team didn't belong.

Te'o was too busy worrying about his non-existent girlfriend screwing around on hum that night.

It is too bad the ND team captain didn't stick a foot out to trip up the Crimson Tide on their way out onto the field.

Heard pretty much the same thing from a colleague of mine after LSU stomped ND in 2006 - especially how big and intimidating our linemen were.

And LSU should have beaten Bama in 2012 and 2014. That shows how much talent and depth we had but an idiot head coach.

2 things, that idiot coach was the one that got that talent there and he went toe to toe with the greatest coach of all time when the playing field was even.

If Miles doesn't kick Mathieu off the team, he shuts down that Yeldon screen.

I love me some Honeybadger and how far he has come as a person and a player but HE messed up...He owned up to it but he messed up HE is the reason he was cut not Miles...I would imagine LM covered for him as long as he could

I don't know what the 4's thing is about but that game was over at kickoff. UGA and UF were both better matchups against that Bama team than Notre Dame. Every SEC fan knew that game was over before it started.

I guess the Alabama team had to be out there 4 quarters longer than they needed to be but it is tradition to walk out there with 4s held up
