anyone on here do the majority of their rifle hunting from lock on stands? I want to be more mobile next season and hunt lock-on stands more but not sure about not having a shooting rest for my gun

I have a few uncles, cousins, and grandfather that are wanting to take a family hunting trip next year for whitetail..fair chase..texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas. Any ideas or places anyone has been with good reviews..Not interested in paying to kill 180inch deer. Just looking for a place to share some laughs and hunt good land. :usa:

thinking about running some traps after hunting season...seen tons of coyote sign and have seen a few bobcats on camera...any advice from the OB? bait, sets, size pan for traps?
