I have green, brown, grey wool sweaters. I can wear them to work if I want then hunting as well. I just use a camo coat or shell over them to cut the wind.

who makes it for a reasonable price?
Filson is expensive.
Wool has been pushed aside by man made fleece, gor-tex, etc. but I still like its old school charm.

It also works well, even when wet.

I bought some pieces of First Lite merino wool this year. Stuff is incredible.

I have a Filson Mackinaw Cruiser and couldn't be happier. Used it working in the woods many times. Isn't my warmest jacket, but holds it's own. As tough as they come and worth the price IMHO

Always wool's strong point. Heck, I'm wearing a handmade wool sweater right now - and it is awesome.

I've wanted to pick one up for a while now. How do they run on thier sizing. Pretty accurate?
