Yes. A million times. You there for a corporate function or just getting away with the family?

It’s for conferences
I’d make sure one was not going on while I was there if it were me

The resort is definitely top notch. If you like golf, there are 3 courses onsite that are outstanding. The main course is going to be on the PGA tour next year.
Amenities are great too. Tons of tennis/pickleball courts and I want to say the restaurants are great too, though when I go it's mostly due to work events and we have stuff catered or we just go offsite.
I've done an overnight staycation where we hung by the pool for the day, I played golf the next and my wife did the spa. It's pricey as hell but the resort grounds are beautiful. Plus, you are close to Austin if you want to make day / night trips to anything Austin offers.
I equate "Hill Country" to more like Fredericksburg...not so much the Barton Creek resort which is like 20 minute drive to downtown Austin.

Almost $400 for a tee time so I think we'll just be hanging by the pool with a cold cocktail.

It’s a good time and the scenery will be amazing. Wear mirrored glasses

It’s pretty nice on the weekend when there are no corporate events going on. I know some locals that go for brunch on Sunday and hang out by the pool.

I’ve been to Hyatt Lost Pines 5-6 times. Just east of Austin airport. Great golf course. Then beer and the lazy river.
