To save face, they are now hiring student volunteers to mind the gap they created.

It’s a shame that nobody gives a damn about our parks.

Places like Gettysburg and Yellowstone are America’s jewels and we treat them like an armpit.

25 years of service and I couldn’t take the internal woke nonsense anymore.

That said, they are still crowded, so people do actually give a damn.

Yeah, there’s a real disconnect between leadership and the demand of ensuring the parks are clean, safe and fun to visit. The parks should be historical but also non political at the same time. There’s also the issue of states don’t want it kicked back to them either.

I appreciate Trump at least trying to clean up DC but it’s a stalemate between old heads who were hired out of high school.
