Real waste fraud and abuse going on within federal agencies

Within the department of interior - they have laid off most park archivists, archeologists and librarians handling preservation efforts.
To save face, they are now hiring student volunteers to mind the gap they created.
It’s a shame that nobody gives a damn about our parks.
Places like Gettysburg and Yellowstone are America’s jewels and we treat them like an armpit.
25 years of service and I couldn’t take the internal woke nonsense anymore.

That said, they are still crowded, so people do actually give a damn.

Yeah, there’s a real disconnect between leadership and the demand of ensuring the parks are clean, safe and fun to visit. The parks should be historical but also non political at the same time. There’s also the issue of states don’t want it kicked back to them either.
I appreciate Trump at least trying to clean up DC but it’s a stalemate between old heads who were hired out of high school.

Im glad they took action and got rid of the nonsense going on at places like the Smithsonian. Every display had some dei, we are bad people stigma attached to it. Instead of being proud of our history, you walked away wanting to take a bath and go ask forgiveness for being part of such a terrible country, it was purposeful.

These are the ones that are preventing you from visiting the parks as intended because everything is 'sacred and not to be touched'
Each park doesn't need a librarian. One librarian can cover multiple parks and the next gen librarian 'student' can intern, do the supervised work, and learn the ropes without being paid a ballooned salary.
Each park doesn't need its own set of archeologists for the same reason.
