It's not going to be jammed but I'm sure there will be fans in there. The bar always plays the school songs and has drink specials on game days.
There are basically no hotels around Wrigley... it's a residential neighborhood. Chicago's hotels are centered downtown (the Loop, South Loop or River North neighborhoods)

Most attractions are also centered in and around the downtown areas so you can either take cabs, walk or public transportation if you stay in that area.
I'd bring a scarf too. When it gets really cold I wrap it around my mouth and nose. Basically you just want your eyes exposed.

How is the L in Chicago

The L is a great way of getting around. But it depends on where you're going to be going.

It's great for getting from downtown to Wrigleyville (and other north side neighborhoods) or from downtown to Wicker Park/Bucktown/Logan Square.

If you're going to other areas I would use Uber or Lyft for a relatively cheap ride.

LSU. I'm assuming Stanley's is the LSU bar?

NO!

It's the Standard Bar and Grill in Wicker Park

Go to the Standard for LSU on Saturday.

For a museum I would go the Museum of Science and Industry in Hyde Park. Also, Chicago has a pretty vibrant China Town that not many tourists know about or go to.

Architecture boat tour is great too.

I think it's funny how most of you only think people would use this for LSU games or the airports.

Back when the LA Swift was running people used it more to access employment between the two cities than recreation.
I live on the NW side and it was silent last night

American legacy carriers are all the same! They all have delays, they all have terrible customer service, they all nickel and dime you.

Now that there has been merger after merger there are only 3 legacies left (UA, AA, DL) and you're basically getting the same product on each one.

The only real difference are their frequent flyer programs and international in-flight service.

I can't wait for this to end after 2 months!
"Chalk" and "chock" are phonetically very similar. There is virtually no difference. Poor example
I don't. I think employers care more about the highest degree earned.

But if you went to an acclaimed undergrad school then maybe just do it to impress.

Should I buy some sort of pass for the Red Line that will last a few days?

Chicago's transit fare system is called Ventra. If you're only planning to use it once I would not recommend getting a pass. I would just put $5 on the card.

Every station has a fare machine where you can purchase them.
Istanbul is great. Places that I'd recommend seeing: Hagia Sofia, The Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, taking a ferry across the Bosphorus to the Asian continent, dinner cruise on the Bosphorus, Taksim Square

I spent a few days in Istanbul then flew down to the Mediterranean coast and stayed at a resort. Great experience. The people I interacted with were very nice. Also it's incredibly cheap compared to the rest of Europe.
