Add in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Ohio and you're talking about close to 1/3 of the country.
Don't be lumping Ohio into those blue states. We're solid red, for the Midwest. We gave you JD Vance, after all.
$36 into my Paypal this morning, but didn't find an email.
I'm on a college campus and interact with students daily. A few will be impacted greatly by this assassination, however some may have had a seed planted. One student I spoke with did not agree with much of what Charlie said, but was obviously upset that it came to this.
I think they may see that today they are safe standing with the campus majority, but standing out of that majority puts you at risk. As people begin to understand their beliefs and not just parrot what the majority wants them to say/believe, they are realizing the crowd may turn on them.

This area Joe mentioned is 150 miles from Akron. This is a different population and problem.

There are several rest areas here in SE Ohio still with pit toilets. Rumor was some of the schools, up into the 90's, had pit toilets.
What finishes first, the High Speed Rail or the Baton Rouge Bridge?

Tried it for 3 or 4 sessions. Absolutely no change and we stopped. The only thing that has worked is Miebo drops.

For those boss types here:
"The ruling vacates the DOL’s rule in its entirety nationwide, including the increase that went into effect on July 1, 202. As a result, the salary threshold exempt status reverts back to the DOL’s 2019 rule, which set it at $684 per week or $35,568 annually. However, the DOL could appeal the decision to the Fifth Circuit, though whether the DOL decides to push forward may be impacted by the incoming DOL under the new Trump administration."

- End federally backed student loans.
Let the free market decide which degrees are likely to pay off their loans. The accreditation systems is a mess and will take more than 4 years to fix.
Heck, getting rid of FAFSA would have made my life so much easier.

There are flies on the windscreen...
My son caught it in Thailand this summer. No treatment, just a week of fever and lethargy. There's a point 4-5 days in where if can become hemorrhagic. That's when it gets serious.
Supposedly, the second time you get it is when people are at higher risk, and there are 4 strains. You only get immunity to the strain you had.

re: Remember when you sat in a chair during an intense job interview? Very uncomfortable.

In the late 80's I interviewed for a consulting job with a major firm. Me (engineer) and two big school MBA's were put in a room and given a test. Using a dozen functions from a fictious programming language and we had to write code to do some simple tasks. And while they could tell you quarterly profits and who the CFO was, I got the offer.
To your point, seeing how someone can dance around a question in a public hearing is one thing. Testing their knowledge in a old fashioned exam is another.
