They were up 15 in the 4th quarter. They might've lost to Tennessee anyway. Would've been a better matchup than FSU with the Rooster(RIP) .

Don't mean to hijack the thread but this video that came out a few days ago was really interesting.

Covers the final Big 8 season and how dominant 95 Nebraska really was...The Big 8 had some really good teams in its final season.

Saw the video the OP linked right after I watched this one.

Both are solid

Michigan State upsetting Ohio State in 1998 is a big reason why Tennessee was able to be in the BCS championship game.

Tennessee would have been in regardless, although they would have been ranked second behind Ohio State. Florida State was the big beneficiary of Ohio State losing, along with KSU and UCLA losing on the final weekend.

IMO 1998 Kansas State was the 2nd best Big 8/12 team of the decade behind only that 1995 Nebraska team.
