The poor bastard stepbrother of the Ryder Cup is upon us

Last time it was 5-0 from the start and then the internationals tied it 5-5 on Friday.
They would probably have a solid chance this time if they had Nieman and Smith

The guys on "Live From" were discussing ways to improve it as it's such a mismatch. It really is a B class event. The Ryder Cup is king and that isn't changing. It's very difficult to build cohesion between guys from Australia, Canada and Japan.
The Americans don't fold like they do in the Ryder so it's good to see that they can take care of business in team events I suppose.
I'll watch some of it but I won't schedule my weekend around it like for Ryder. It will be interesting to see what the 20ish year old kid can do with JT tomorrow.

It seems like the int’l team usually has a lot of talent that underperforms in this.

Not this year. Usually, the problem is depth with Int. This year, they have 1 player, Si Woo Kim, in the top 11 players in the competition according to Data Golf rankings. So, they are just pretty much weak all the way around.

That on course interview with Brandt was weird. Is he implying that there are rumors that Scottie and Sam are not friends?
Also, I'd like to see B Draddy get the Ryder Cup uniforms for the USA instead of Ralph Lauren. It's nice to see some classy, understated uniforms on the Americans.

No. They are friends but they havent done well together as partners in competition

I know Si Woo and Tom are not brothers, but I would bet that some casuals would assume they are brothers and possibly twins while watching. They are the same exact height, body, and face shape.
