One of my favorite players.

Great defense at 2nd Base, great contact, good power . Hard not to like.

Good for DJ

They still won't win a world series

LeMahieu is one of those players more recognized as a gamer by fellow players than by fans. Perhaps in New York, he can garner some spotlight.

Any posting about DJ, I have to add, should have been CWS MVP in 2009

Wow, good for him. hate the Yankees but wouldn't hate seeing DJ get a ring if they do win another world series

That’s awesome. He has been great in Colorado but no one knows it because he is in Colorado.

One of the best natural baseball players we have had in recent years.

He has to be our second best player in the league right now that actually played for us.

We'll miss him here in Colorado, but maybe he can get a ring in NY. I always loved watching him play at LSU. He's probably one of my current favorite LSU and ex-LSU players, along with Bregman and Duplantis.

Heck even Rockies fans overlooked him. This is great for DJ but I'm bummed that I won't get to see him play anymore.

His game tying double in Game one of the Finals was the second greatest hit in LSU Baseball history.

1. Aaron Nola
2. Alex Bregman
3. DJ LeMahieu

Yep, and he also had a big homerun a few innings earlier to cut into the Texas lead.

Agreed. I would put him behind Bregman and just ahead of Nola. It's probably pretty close between all three. Nola has been killing it the past couple seasons... He just doesn't get any run support.

Dude, Nola just finished 3rd for the Cy Young. Everyone else is behind him right now. It's really not all that close between those three right now. Nola is one of the best pitchers in baseball.

Pump the brakes t-boy. I'm happy for DJ but Manny is one of the best infielders alive.

ETA: downvote away but anybody seriously saying LeMahieu>Machado knows nothing about baseball.
I'm a huge fan of DJ and a lifelong Yankees fan so I'm happy. Just being real.
