Youth needing Tommy John Surgery

I am always concerned when I hear about kids pitching year around. Now this. Frankly youth leagues need to take ownership.

Kannynn only throws heat. that's all he needs to dominate.

I look down and laugh at simpletons like yourself. I had Kcayxdenne throwing breaking balls at 8. His doctors keep talking about improper development this and major wrist problems that, but my boy is the #1 starter on his travel ball squad so it's all worth it.

That is a lie and you know it.

Year round kids sports are a curse placed upon our kids by their parents.

Here in Texas - baseball, softball, soccer and basketball never stop.

Quite honestly football is one of the few that tend to do it right. Tackle is only in the fall with flag or touch the rest of the year.

Soccer and baseball are the absolute worse here though. 8 and 9 year olds playing up to 50 games a year in some baseball divisions.

The drama/cheating with soccer clubs in DFW is a cancer.

There are people at my church whose kids seem to be playing baseball literally every weekend. Makes me wonder how they have time to make it to church.

You guys all are being sarcastic but I know some parents who have absolutely said that their little Cy Young is such a good pitcher that even though he knows how to throw a breaking ball, he doesn't need to because he throws so fast.

We’re good. We got little Perm an elective Tommy John surgery when he was 11 so he won’t need it later. We try to keep his pitch count under 180 for the weekend. It’s tough to do when you’re chasing those rings every weekend. Can’t wait for that first MLB contract.

It’s because none of them played travel ball, those brats are burned out by the time they get to hs

No problem for Khodie since he doesn't pitch; he is a third basemen. He is only 12 and already shits on Brooks Robinson.
