Why do trains decide to stop and block intersections? It is happening more often now.

Any train engineers on here? Train drivers? Why do you feel the need to take a break blocking major intersections? It is happening in Baton Rouge, Jefferson, St.Charles, Mississippi Gulf Coast, and New Orleans. Why are you chilling causing traffic jams? I understand you have long drives and you have to deal with people going around the sticks when you are trying to get through but please find a place to chill in your train that does not block traffic.

They were there long before the street you were on existed. They have a servitude/own the land and don’t give a frick what you want.

When you are a half mile long, it's hard to stop without blocking something

Their run away trains looking for missing children and it’s never going back.

Most of them have to stop on spurs to allow another train to pass. The trains have gotten so long now that they will have over 100 cars attached. Many of those spurs happen to be in areas with several crossings.
