Last saw cat two days ago. Heard the 'yotes last night behind our pond and then shortly after this prick went back into the tree line this morning, not too far away. Hadn't heard them before, but this is the first fall in this house. We know they're in the woods on the other side of the road. I'm afraid she got taken...

Tons of deer, have come into our yard before. Anyway, I'm afraid they took my kitty. My wife's first real gift to me. Dog got run over this summer. Man, this new house move has been bittersweet.

Shoot it and any other you see.

When we moved into our house 15yrs ago one came up on our back patio (before we had a fence or neighbors) and grabbed our cat.

Get another one.

It'll get taken.

Rinse & repeat.

Yup. I think my AR will work. Any specific recommendations on coyote guns? My others are hunting caliber rifles. 30 cal types.

Find a Great Pyrenees for your next dog.

And if you can't shoot in your backyard easily get a crossbow.

Whatever you deer hunt with. No need to get something special. If you're using it as an excuse to get a new gun get a 6.5 grendel upper for your AR (only reccomending this because it's what I want right now)

Plenty of rifle. As mentioned, if you cant shoot a rifle, get a crossbow and set up on that treeline. Yotes dont handle crossbows too well

Our cat disappeared in a similar set up years ago. She would hang out in yard late at night and Im sure they got it

Kill them yotes my man!

An AR is perfect. .223 with 68 grain will wreck a coyote. I killed one at 165 yds with mine (thermal at night).

Country living ain’t for the faint of heart. Laws of nature still apply. If you have an indoors pet, never leave them outside alone. Always with supervision.

Having said that, I wouldn’t trade country living for any other…

It was...sizeable. Pelt will look good on a wall. The prick.

4 cat squirrels. Could have had an easy limit with a shotgun.
