Looking to purchase 6 double ring crab nets. Anywhere else I should look at purchasing besides Alario Bros. near N.O. Metro/Northshore? Im assuming I should store in some sort of rubbermaid tub?

Just curious why you are against getting them from there? I run 2 doz from there and they have been great.
I store mine in a 55gal drum cut in 1/2 with drain holes drilled in the bottom and added some rope handles. Doubles as a sorting bin when running the traps.

Im not. Probably should have worded it “In addition to Alario Bros”. Just seeing if there might be a more convenient option.

Academy should have cheap ones.
I dont know what Marsh and Bayou in mandeville have, but probably worth a phone call to see.

Have you checked out Craig's List? I got a dozen double ring nets made with great material======coated heavy netting, nice double rings, bridle with cork, etc. for about $130 or so a few years ago from a guy on the Westbank who sells out of his home.
Don't remember his name, but the nets are top notch.

I havent been on Craigs List in 10 yrs. Did a cursory search on FB marketplace. Either way it looks like a trip to the Wank is in my weekend plans

If I remember right, the guy lived in a 1 story brick ranch style house with a small storage area at the end of his carport. I believe the house was on a dead end street too, but I'm really working the gray matter.

I’ve used ones from academy and they don’t seem to catch well. Wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience.
