Rousse abstention from SEC meeting due to Fed lawsuit

I think our legal team correctly guided Rousse in advising him to not participate in the SEC meeting due to the SEC's federal lawsuit against LSU.
The lawsuit was also directed against our governor, our athletic director, our football head coach, and whoever else I'm forgetting. I assume that all would receive similar legal advice relative to participation in SEC meetings/discussions.
Until the federal lawsuit is dropped, is LSU effectively on the SEC sideline; i.e. out of the SEC?
Just a crazy thought to direct to the crazy folks on here.'

If I'm not mistaken Liz as well. No sideline and not out unless its LSU'S choice

Probably just precautionary best practices in the immediate on matters potentially involving "that" whole incident.
