What is the measure for NOLA being a "basketball city"? Would you be saying this if the Pelicans had picked Ja Morant rather than Zion? Sure he comes with his problems himself but he is much more available than our current "star". Pair that with picking Garland rather than trading down in the draft that year and you have a solid contender team, and your biggest concern would be Brandon Ingram's availability.

As far as the organization is concerned, there obviously need to be changes. Whether that is coaching or training staff, or all the way top to bottom is for those making the big paychecks to figure out. But when this team is rolling, the support is there. Look no further than last year's play-in game and playoff push. Giving Zion a Supermax last year looks incredibly stupid right now. But he was playing like an all star pre injury and had this team in the top 3 of the western conference, largely without BI. Don't let Zion's woes distract you from the strong core of this team and the support that has been loud and energetic throughout an otherwise disappointing season.

Not necessarily trying to cheap out a few hundred dollars, just trying to get a feel for my options and what is the best bang for buck. Thanks to the person who suggested z grills

Does anyone have any info on the flood control project going on across from HRP? They seem to have taken out all of the trees and shrubbery about 10 feet wide on either side of Bayou Fountain. There is a BREC trail that runs next to the bayou in that area that has been completely mowed down. Not sure how this is supposed to help flooding as there will now be no trees with roots running through the bank to stop erosion. And the trail that I and others have used is now nothing more than dirt and stumps.

Anyone know the details on this? Basically stopped showing up on Jordy's show and as far as I know nothing was ever said of it

I bought the 5 game ticket package in September and didn't realize I scheduled this game for the night of my office Christmas party. Would skip but I have to go and don't want these tickets to go to waste. They're in Section 332 Row 10, seats 1-3. Will sell them for the $25 face value. Looking to buy some single game tickets for a friend of mine but wanted to know if they can walk down to the student section from the upper deck. I know they typically check to verify whether or not you are a student but want to know if there is any way to walk down from upper decks to the student section or if thats impossible.
