Its clear as day the Zion does not want to be in Nola. No superstars ever want to stay here, and if they give us a chance, like AD, we can't get enough supporting players around him because they don't want to come to New Orleans. Our "world-renown" MDs on the staff are not living up to all of the hullabaloo. Local radio rumblings are insinuating what I am saying as well. At what point does Adam Silver & Co. pull the plug on a NOLA team and move the team to Seattle, St Louis, Austin, etc?

It pains me to say it, but maybe NOLA is not a basketball city. Also, I don't think our world class cuisine is helping either for player fitness. Can't have players going to Parkway and get a roast beef po boy with extra debris. Downvote away all you want, but I just don't think NOLA is a basketball city. Please try to change my mind.

There's nothing clear right now. We're running rampant on rumors and speculations right now.

If you don't want to watch, move on with your life. What a pathetic post.

What is the measure for NOLA being a "basketball city"? Would you be saying this if the Pelicans had picked Ja Morant rather than Zion? Sure he comes with his problems himself but he is much more available than our current "star". Pair that with picking Garland rather than trading down in the draft that year and you have a solid contender team, and your biggest concern would be Brandon Ingram's availability.

As far as the organization is concerned, there obviously need to be changes. Whether that is coaching or training staff, or all the way top to bottom is for those making the big paychecks to figure out. But when this team is rolling, the support is there. Look no further than last year's play-in game and playoff push. Giving Zion a Supermax last year looks incredibly stupid right now. But he was playing like an all star pre injury and had this team in the top 3 of the western conference, largely without BI. Don't let Zion's woes distract you from the strong core of this team and the support that has been loud and energetic throughout an otherwise disappointing season.

Memphis is playing pretty good ball with players running down to Central BBQ and Gus's Fried Chicken everyday

This isn't a specific problem to the Pelicans, but the results of the NBA allowing the players to basically control everything. Then having the players become soft bunch of losers that can't build anything on their own joining up for Superteams.

LeBron and Durant are the poster children for this and then you have guys like Kahwi needing to load manage. Further, you have guys like Ben Simmons, Ja and now Zion that are just so mentally weak that how they learned to keep breathing in and out on their own is a shocker.

This is the consequence of years and two decades of stupidity by the owners and guaranteed contracts, no loyalty either way and just everything that is wrong with basketball today.

Moving this team would change nothing.
