Tiger Stadium seating question

Looking to buy some single game tickets for a friend of mine but wanted to know if they can walk down to the student section from the upper deck. I know they typically check to verify whether or not you are a student but want to know if there is any way to walk down from upper decks to the student section or if thats impossible. TIA

You used to not be able to. I walked all across the stadium during the Hallman years and they used to have a purple wall in the con course that would block you from being able to. from my understanding now, you are able to get anywhere you want. I cant give you the exact directions, but I sit in the north endzone, had a buddy who had tickets in the upper deck and said he was gonna come sit with me. I told him that he could not bc it is blocked. we made a friendly wager, he took a picture of himself in the west upper deck and 10 for 15 minutes later he was sitting by me. he said it was fairly easy. so apparently things changed.

Yes you can do that, but make sure you don’t buy seats in the East uppers. I believe any gate entries to go to the East uppers, is completely blocked off from the rest of the stadium.
That’s actually what I normally do though, buy the cheapest tickets in the west uppers, scan my ticket at the gate, and go straight into the student section. They don’t care.

I feel like you can from the West Uppers fairly easy, but the East Uppers would be a challenge because the escalators and ramps are outside the lower bowl.

East upper deck esclator/stairs/elevator outside lower bowl, but still inside ticketed area. You can still get into lower bowl once you get to ground level. I have done it many times.

If you are trying to go sit by/in the student section I would look into the North Endzone. You will not be able to enter the lower bowl from the upper deck.

You can but its a bitch. Get seats in the east upper deck and you can get down to the main bowl. Go to the bathrooms by the yellow endzones (north), face the field, and look to the right. Theres a tunnel that goes throughout the north endzone and follow it and then BAM! Your at the student section.

East upper deck is the way to go. You honestly dont even have to go up there. Just get in the stadium from the east side is the easiest thing to do. You can't get in from the west and then you would have to walk around the whole stadium

At each goal line of the North Endzone (and South), there is a small wall at the end of each row that runs all the way up and separates the seating. Because its at the end of the row (full of people sitting there), you have to walk down the entire row and interrupt those people. Each has to stand up and let you by. At the end of the row, step over the wall and walk down that entire row with people in it.
Depends on how many have passed through before you get there and pissed off everyone in the row. The people in the row will shut it down on you.
Be upfront with them and tell them your intentions...
"my girlfriend is a student and I'm trying to meet up with her in the student section. I'm only passing through once"
Then, there's a security watching it as well.
I've done it once. It can be done. Much easier to buy tickets for gate 9 for the north end zone.

False. Gates 22-28 have access to either East Upper ramps or South End Zone

You can go in any general gate in the stadium even if your tickets are in the uppers. Ask me how I know.

We used to use this tunnel until we found out they’ll just let us in at the north gate anyway.

Hi! How exactly did you do this? Did you gave an upper west tkt and then just scan it at any entrance gate? Or did you scan it at upper west and navigate your way to the student section?

Hi! Do they really not care? I ask cause we just purchased a cheap west upper for a game in the fall for our friends daughter who ideally would like to sit in the student section.
