I like Fidelity. It has a great brokerage account with checking account and bill pay. I good rewards card with 2% cash back on all purchases. Put your money in VOO 25%, small cap value fund 25%, VGT 25% and SMH 25%.

Would you buy a new car warranty on a 2026 Subaru Outback premium?

I am using the Fidelity rewards credit card which earns 2% cash on all purchases. The money is deposited directly into my Fidelity brokerage account.

I am buying a home soon and need recommendations for a comprehensive home warranty. The house has two old A/C units and 2 old hot water heaters which are 33 years old. Also old kitchen appliances. Thanks

You need to buy index or ETF funds for 10-20 years before you put your money into individual stocks. Check out Paulmerriman.com for a good educational non profit website. They have good fund portfolio’s and lots of information.

You may consider long term care insurance for you and your wife. At your age it is less expensive. You are more likely to get disabled than die.
First try swimming if possible for 6 months then the ESI’ s. It worked for me
