I commute from Biloxi to BSL everyday. It's about 35 minutes door to door but there's zero traffic so I have no complaints....

We moved to Biloxi from BR a year ago and LOVE it. Our daughter goes to North Bay Elementary which is currently ranked 8th in the state. Whoever you choose will consult with the other doctors involved. Sounds like the only missing piece to the puzzle is the oral surgeon...since you've been seeing the other pediatric specialists. There's also no shame in seeing multiple surgeons (if finances allow it) to see what all your options are...

Most oral surgeons will be out of network on your insurance (I do insurance and billing for an oral surgeon) . The key is to see a DDS, MD which means they have completed both dental school and medical school. From Dr. Bulot's website it appears that he has done that. I recommend Dr. Richard Akin th...

Son is an oral surgeon in Baton Rouge and father is an oral surgeon on the West Bank and in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. I worked for one for 7.5 years and currently work for the other one so my vote obviously goes to Drs. Akin. ...

Good decision! My husband was transferred to the gulf coast for work. He was here six months before me and explored the area. Where we ultimately bought is never where I thought we would be but it's perfect. I am all for checking out the area to see what works for you. ...

I will say the reason we don't work with the VA anymore is because they took forever to approve our fees and when they did, it took forever to get paid. It's absolutely not fair to the patient! ...

I work for an oral surgeon...he doesn't accept VA payments but what I can suggest is calling the VA to see who will see you. Will save you tons of time. ...

Our 7 month old rolled off the changing table and fractured her tibia. He was in the hospital all day doing surgery but had the ER set up a room for us and we met him there to cast her in between surgeries. He had excellent bedside manner as well....

I work the front desk in a dental office and I am always astounded at how rude or just generally unhappy other front office staff is. My job is to be friendly whether I am having a good day or not!...
