He was an outstanding man. He served LSU well as tennis coach and later as an assistant AD. He loved the Tigers.

Steve was a dear friend and true Tiger. Serve as Asst AD under joe Dean for a number of years.


My thoughts are with Gloria Amelia and Boomer

I used to bring my son to his tennis camps every summer. He was a really good coach and a genuinely nice man. RIP Coach Carter.

My prayers to the family of Steve. I served with him on the student council while at LSU. He was a hard worker and nice man.

Steve was a fantastic person. Served in many capacities at LSU. Rest in peace.
