Heading up there for a wedding in October and wondering if anyone knows of any good golf courses around the southern Tulsa area worth playing? TIA

We play at The Club at Indian Springs for a work event and it is not bad.
Played The Patriot in Owasso this year and if you can get in, it is well worth it. It is also the Headquarters for The Folds of Honor. I highly recommend.

Highly recommend The Canyons at Blackjack Ridge. Really fun course. A lot of elevation changes, some great views and the greens fee is shockingly low.
Forest Ridge is probably the best conditioned public course. Bentgrass greens. It's almost triple the price of Blackjack.
The Golf Club of Oklahama if private is an option. My favorite style of course. Tree lined Fazio design, feels very secluded, low key place, Bermuda fairways, also Bentgrass greens .

I was a member at Forest Ridge when I lived in Tulsa. It’s semi-private but going fully private soon. It’s probably the nicest option that you’d be able to play without a member.

Oaks Country Club (not The Oaks, just Oaks) is in south Tulsa. Might need your club pro, if you have one, contact them. Or maybe someone in the wedding party is or knows a member.

Thanks for the suggestions, sounds like my wife’s uncle is a member of Southern Hills CC, looks nice but anyone familiar? I’m going to check out the suggestions and try and get a couple rounds in.

Ok well forget everything we said.
Yes, you should play Southern Hills and you should be adamant about it.
