Anyone know what happened to Garrett Ward?

The 25 year old while guy who drunkenly beat a 60 year old black man to death in New Orleans and was charged with murder. It’s been over 2 years and have not heard about the case.

discovery hearings aren't scheduled for another few months but COVID has everything backed up so who knows

Saw him at Walk-Ons after the UGA game in 2018 sporting a lovely ankle monitor.
