No one really knows because it’s all speculative to a sites algorithm. They’re def paying over $30mil and no it’s probably not sustainable.
And if Seaton is spending money buying Goyard, who cares. If I was getting paid $5m+ at 20 years old, I would’ve spent a lot of money too on frivolous things.

We spent over $40 million on this team.
Schools can spend up to $20.5 million with the rest coming from collectives.

Can LSU afford 30-40m on football contacts moving forward? Seaton is a prime example of he struggles moving to another school after spending 5+ million.

No one actually knows what our players are receiving from NIL EXCEPT some limited personnel at LSU.
You start with the $20.5 million from LSUAD directly and then add NIL. Our roster is ESTIMATED (a guess by any of us) to be anywhere from $43 to $50 million. That would mean that our NIL would be anywhere from $22.5 million to $29.5 million.
This model is NOT sustainable for any school in any conference.

These top players getting 5-7m are killing it imo..

So LSU pays a player for his potential services to the team, he spends the money how he sees fit.
At the end of the season, he can choose to stay at current rate, ask for a raise or look elsewhere for such raise. Where is the problem?
LSU will also be looking to outbid for players on other rosters next year.

You are looking at players asking for 10m eventually, for a college it isn't sustainable. You need extremely deep pockets and on on June which frankly LSU doesn't have if you are looking at 10m for legit players
