Here is the story:

The boat started taking on water 30 miles offshore (at this time no apparent reason). The captain was able to run towards a platform that had a boat (Da Chit) fishing at, but the boat didn't make it all the way to platform as the water began to over take the boat. The captain did make mayday calls on the way to platform.

Da Chit boat refused to stop fishing to help fortunately another boat heard the mayday call and headed to sinking boat. The rescue boat came from opposite direction from the sinking boat, so they stopped by the Da Chit boat fishing. The captain on Da Chit told the rescue boat that a sinking boat needed their help and pointed them into right direction.

By the time rescue boat arrived at the sinking boat, the two kids (girls) were in the water and the others trying to bail out boat. Everyone was retrieve without an accident.

Da Chit boat did stop fishing after rescue boat went to location. They circle platform and boat then headed in. Da Chit is not cleared by coast guard and the investigation is ongoing. Coast guard is contacting all parties on sinking boat, rescue boat, and even the platform so more to come of the situation.

Recently, we installed some new cypress beams inside and wife wanted them stained. I stained them but I can't stand the color and want to go back to natural look with a wax.

Can I remove the stain on beams or I will have to replace the beams. FYI: I never applied a sealer to the beams, if that makes a difference.
