Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will start at....12:30 pm ET Thursday

Playing at the Hawks arena. Hawks game that night pushed back to 8pm.
This might be worse than that time in the 80's when the NBA showed their Finals series during the week on tape delay after the 10pm news.
I post this just to laugh once again at how stupid this league is.

Well this creates a whole other issue. Many WNBA fans usually watch The View at that time of the day. Tough choices will have to be made.

The alternative was to play in an arena that holds 3500 people. This is definitely the better of the 2 options.

The league is stupid, but at the same time if the NBA was serious about supporting this league, they could have made better accommodations considering this could be the final game of the series.
Then again, this could be a strategic move so they can have a built-in excuse when this fails to pull in more viewers than some of the regular season games CC played in.

This is perfect if the league plays it right.
Gather up all the kids under disciplinary action in Atlanta schools. Buss them to the game and force them to watch. Tape their eyelids open. Full stands, lots of screaming, and the announcers on the CW or whatever channel they air this on can spin it as a raucous crowd.

Apparently they are saying if Atlanta wins, they would have the postgame celebration in the practice gym because if they had it in the arena, it wouldn’t give them enough time to turn the arena over for the Hawks.
