Just had this at Stinky's Fish Camp yesterday, should have known someone from Louisiana would have this recipe ready to go...the owner of Stinky's is from NOLA I guess, lots of Jazzfest swag throughout the place, great place!
EVERY time I go to LA Sportsman website I get popups telling me I won a prize from Google or Amazon. Classifieds have the old "send deposit I'll deliver the atv later" scam. Like the original poster said, I can't believe that Louisiana is "Sportsman's Paradise" but the sporting magazine we have is owned by some out-of-state d-bag who obviously doesn't give 2 shizzs about how the magazine or website is run. It's prolly just a matter of time before that hack-job fish wrapper is history, hopefully we'll get a magazine that actually appeals to locals and has real ads and no computer viruses.

That's the truth....that place just LOOKS like the best place to fish ever, but I've never caught a thing there.....its crazy.
"what's to stop the judge from removing hunting privileges for a year and tack on a fine with it? Hell could I serve time in jail?
Because if someone breaks the law, they have the right to go to court to offer proof that they didn't break the law, or they had a valid excuse to break the law, and they can't be punished for exercising their rights. If you have a good faith legal argument,a judge can't punish you for trying to convince everyone you're in the right. You may get stuck with court costs if you lose but they can't throw you in jail just for trying to explain your side of things....

The problem is that if you sell it and get a lighter rod and reel for trout, you will be hooked on fly fishing and then want a heavier rod and reel for bigger fish...don't sell it yet, you may regret it!

My one piece of advice that I really really mean is that you should bury the dog yourself. It was a very cathartic experience that brought closure and felt like I was giving her the respect she deserved for being such a good friend.
+1 on this. But what's crazy is when it's at a vet and I've heard a couple people say something like "Its too sad, I could never be in the room when they put her down..." I'm thinking "Wtf! After 10 years you want the last face she sees to be some stranger?" Crazy.

I am so sorry. I've had two beagles put down, and it's rough. When I was little, an old timer told me that dogs are the most noble and generous creatures in the world, and they are ok with passing on when they are old because they know there are a lot of abandoned puppies that need good homes out in the world. That helped me deal with the sadness a bit.
Lol I totally see what you did there...
Anti Hunter gets the smackdown at Fox hunting protest

Imagine showing up to hunt and there's a bunch of anti hunters in the field trying to spoil your hunt...

The problem is that this has little to do with coyotes and a lot to do with how many anti hunters there are....if you post things on Facebook that makes hunters look like douches, someone who didn't really care about hunting before might be the next PETA member because of a careless FB post. Big deal you say? Well, once there are enough of those bleeding hearts, they start getting Anti hunting laws passed....for example, see California, where all of the hippies living in San Francisco and Los Angeles urban sprawl can vote to regulate hunting or farming in the other 99% of the State, where they probably never even set foot.
A thoughtless FB post might freak someone out and make them anti hunting, and converting someone who doesn't care about hunting to an anti hunter can never work out in our favor.

Ever since I was a kid in Northern Cal I been using a $12 Haydels DR 85. My nephew got me a precision high end Lares for 100 bucks, shoot I wouldn't use that thing to prop up a wobbly table. There's never been a call as good a Haydels!

I had a similar problem on a little outboard, thought it was the carb, turned out to be a spun hub.

That looks like a blast, and those photos are pro-quality, they look like they should be in a sporting magazine...good work.
