Chad soon has gone on record stating that he loves coach o and he was jumping up and down like a little girl when O got the job. But also stated that a lot of ppl are making football decisions and not life decisions. Chassion is smart and Texas has been giving him the Alumni support and information about the amount of UT alumni in high influential positions at major corporations. He said he wanted to learn more about how LSUs support and alumni network after football on different video interviews.
Tyler shelvin appreciation thread
Posted by maxcheramie on 1/15/17 at 12:33 pm
Just wanted to put out an appreciation thread for shelvin. He is "Marvs" heavy recruiter. He stated at the all American game that he is recruiting Marv hard to come and play all with him. A couple of mammoths on the line eating up double teams will leave key, Anthony, Thornton, white, divinity, gay, Phillips. Monster holes to get at the quarterback through. For the future and these guys will be immediate relief for our already talented DTs on the roster.

Barry sanders 2.0 aka Clyde Edwards-helaire
Posted by maxcheramie on 1/9/17 at 11:09 am
I don't post here often but with all the etienne talk I had no other option. I know I know, Barry sanders was a back in his own class and will never be replicated. And sure we need 2 backs this class and CEH gets no love. Guice said CEH will be a better back than him. A low center of gravity and strong lower body. Already in the 190's in weight. Next season he will be about 205 and a tank.
I hope he stays true to LSU because he is one of the committed offensive prospect I'm most excited about.

That was always my problem with Les also.
When he started kneeling against ole miss with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter; i wanted his head then.
How many times in the past when we actually had an offensive coordinator that we would start pulling away from someone then Les would step and and we would run 3 toss dives straight up the middle then punt and have a 24 point 1st half lead turn into a 4 point win. Football is about momentum, when you got it. You never slow down. Who cares if you put up a 60 spot on a team. They would do it to us if they could.

I hope it's true. Keep that Louisiana pride and put on that purple and gold like Boosie said. He and fowler will be playing a lot of snaps next season.
re: LSU and short receivers

Quinn was supposed to be a possession receiver like Landry. Unfortunately he had many big drive ending drops when they tried to work him into the system last year.

I think 60-70 is crazy. Has LSU ever gave up 60 points. Just because you score a lot doesn't mean you have to give up a lot of points.
It would be nice to start a game with 3 touchdowns, a punt, and a fieldgoal instead of 5 punts and 14 runs up the middle.

Creatine will not pop you on a pisser. Red meat is loaded with creatine. If that was the case all student athletes would be on chicken and fish diets.
Most likely pro hormones purchased legally off the net they are not legal for ncaa use. Was perfectly fine in high school though.

Sorry about the negativity in the 4th paragraph I was somewhat just rambling on while on the road heading back from the camp in mississippi. I love my TIGERS and just want them to do well. They have the puzzle pieces just ready to see the puzzle assembled.

Everyone is worth a look. Especially immediate play transfers. This will help with depth, maturity, and leadership. This would help with the kenny young miss and the transfers out. Hopefully we can get him and a few other d-linemen in some purple n gold.

I don't post here often, but I figured this was worth the feedback.
I was listening to the xm radio and they were talking about the new faces of old programs stemming from an old coach to giving the keys to the car to a young video game offensive coordinator. They stated TCU and OU as recent turnarounds from single hires. The radio host said TCU went from 77th in total offense to 7th in 1 season.
With that said; I do love les miles the person. Do you think he will eventually hire an OC with swag and let him work? Surely one of these OC's would love to come to LSU and work with 4 and 5 star recruits as in opposed to 2 and 3 stars?
We all know he calls the plays so is this bowl game the game he let's go? Or this upcoming season? We all know his plays before they are run. And the pitch dive that only we run? Is anyone supposed to believe that 4 different offensive coordinators call the same plays. Hopefully we can steer the ship right..... right now. TCU finished 3 spots behind us in rushing yards, but 72 spots ahead of us in total offense.
I think they should go after TCU's offensive coordinator. If LSU could keep stout defense and recruit depth. LSU would be playing at an entire other level than the rest of the sec west.
Not being a negatiger, but anemic offense is what pushed Franks away and potentially more offensive players. TCU posted the nation's 4th ranked total offense this season. With Boykin missing some time. Meanwhile we sit at 76th with a loaded roster

LSU's first play from scrimmage throw a 70 yard bomb for a touchdown. They will be expecting run, run, run... to get harris into the groove. I saw personally how mindfu*ked florida was against alabama after they hit cooper for 80 yards right out of the gate. They were putting 5 maybe 6 in the box and the corners/nickel were playing 10-15 yards deep (except hargreaves) Safeties were 25 yards back the rest of the game. The Running backs would run 6-7 yards before being touched.

In my opinion, our inability to stop teams like MSU and Wisconsin has forced Miles' hand as he knows that BH is his best chance to put points in the board, even with the risk of starting a true freshman at Auburn. If we had a stout D like in 2011, AJ would be starting.
NMST was AJ's dress rehearsal with a more open offense in preparation for Auburn and he did not play well with 3 TO's.
So, If our defense was playing lights out it would be your choice to play Jennings and only "maybe" score 20 points per SEC game.
Rather than an awesome offense and an awesome defense. Makes no f'n sense. The point of football games is winning. And BH gives the best opportunity to win with a stout D or a weak D.
Why not win 42-13
Instead of 14-13.
re: Is everyone feeling more optomistic now?
Posted by maxcheramie on 9/28/14 at 3:01 pm to PsychTiger
More optimistic seriously?
Miles is a cheesedick and will likely start Jennings again and not put in Harris until we are down 21 points. Everyone knew Harris had the tools. Miles is the reason for our loss and he will mess up quite a few more games due to his stupidity.
Lets not forget in May when Harris and Dupre were in california working with george whitfield...... Jennings was there also. There were 4 post on how much of the "real deal" Brandon Harris was. Not one post on his twitter about Jennings.
Harris is what we need to win games. The players don't even want to play for Jennings you could see that last night. Jennings makes offense anemic. they cannot move the ball at all. It'll be tough sailing having to come back from 14-21 points down like we had to against wisconsin and mississippi state. If Jennings starts expect the same for all of our SEC games.

Did everyone miss the fact that BOOGER MCFARLAND's son is a Boss at Running back.
Rated 77th on the top 100 list.
6 offers all from typical top 25 teams.
He Anchored a 42 second 4x100 relay team as a high school freshman. He is still growing.

Even though we already have Franks committed will LSU take another qb?
Not a chance. McMillan is guaranteed redshirting. Leaving him as a freshman with Franks. Cam stated Franks was his QB. Straight up freak for a 10 grader and LES granted permission already to Franks to be dual sport because he is an elite pitcher and wants to play LSU baseball aswell. Franks is our 2016. McMillan will be a great compliment to Franks. Does anyone really see LSU bringing in 2 true freshman with a redshirt freshman on the roster? That'll mean someone is gonna transfer and we will be in the same position again. Lack of depth. when they show up and we have Harris as a JR. and Possibly a Sr. Jennings that may graduate and seek immediate playing time elsewhere if he is a backup.
What senior will wear #18 this year... 3 chosen to represent for media days
Posted by maxcheramie on 7/10/14 at 12:23 pm
La’el Collins, Offensive Tackle
Terrence Magee, Running Back
D.J. Welter, Linebacker
These are the 3 seniors LES has chosen to rep LSU on media day. As noted key senior leaders...
Who would you like to see wearing the 18?
I honestly would love to see Collins get it. Also, Magee's resilience changing positions to help the team out, changing back, then working to the top of the RB depth chart shows character. I think he would be a great representation of the Jersey.

re: Underrated Recruit That LSU Missed Out On Recently That You Really Wanted

Deshawn fortune and Amonte Caban. Both have said they love the sec. Andhave interest in lsu. Been trying to send emails in to the lsu recruiting service but seems like it's not doing anything. Watched Amonte turn from 2 to 4 star and deshawn is only on 247 after he blew up Nike camp this april. 6'2 260 and growing right now ran 4.7-4.75. Played running back as freshman, runningback/lb as sophmore. And linebacker/DE as a junior. 3* right now projected as DT.
See his highlights on youtube. He will end up as a top 15 defensive end by signing day.

re: Does Leonard Fournette win 1 or 2 heisman trophies?
Posted by maxcheramie on 6/20/14 at 12:53 am to 24chevrolet48
He will need 2300 yards rushing and 30 touchdowns with 500yds receiving and another 5tds to win the heisman at RB. Tre mason had 1980 yards from scrimmage and 24tds. And he wasn't even close. Boston College runningback ran for 2177 and 18td. Him and tre's votes together were less than winstons votes.
