I don't post here often, but I figured this was worth the feedback.

I was listening to the xm radio and they were talking about the new faces of old programs stemming from an old coach to giving the keys to the car to a young video game offensive coordinator. They stated TCU and OU as recent turnarounds from single hires. The radio host said TCU went from 77th in total offense to 7th in 1 season.

With that said; I do love les miles the person. Do you think he will eventually hire an OC with swag and let him work? Surely one of these OC's would love to come to LSU and work with 4 and 5 star recruits as in opposed to 2 and 3 stars?

We all know he calls the plays so is this bowl game the game he let's go? Or this upcoming season? We all know his plays before they are run. And the pitch dive that only we run? Is anyone supposed to believe that 4 different offensive coordinators call the same plays. Hopefully we can steer the ship right..... right now. TCU finished 3 spots behind us in rushing yards, but 72 spots ahead of us in total offense.

I think they should go after TCU's offensive coordinator. If LSU could keep stout defense and recruit depth. LSU would be playing at an entire other level than the rest of the sec west.

Not being a negatiger, but anemic offense is what pushed Franks away and potentially more offensive players. TCU posted the nation's 4th ranked total offense this season. With Boykin missing some time. Meanwhile we sit at 76th with a loaded roster

Jorconaix is it really that bad of a post? I tried not to make the statement condemning or negative. Just a little eye opening.

Sorry about the negativity in the 4th paragraph I was somewhat just rambling on while on the road heading back from the camp in mississippi. I love my TIGERS and just want them to do well. They have the puzzle pieces just ready to see the puzzle assembled.

I've officially converted all of my sippi neighbors to LSU fans!

Yes it proves you don't watch.

Play calling has been diff under every single OC. The run first mantra is there and has been that way at LSU for as long as I can remember and I hope that never changes.

Other teams have run the toss dive. Most recent, saints, cowboys, and UGA are teams I've seen run it. Cam with the chargers. Spurrier has used it, and used it when he was at UF.

Les doesn't call the plays, and even if he did, he's had some of the better offenses in the history of the program.

What many dont understand is we get the elite receivers and skill position due to being a pro style offense and developing them to be able to produce in a pro style offense. I feel we should pass a little more out of it but I hate watching 70-60 games. I will take the 9-6 game any day over 70-60 game. I like winning TOP, I like a good defense, and the only issue we have is a young qb. Once Harris gets experience which will happen starting next year we should be good. I'm ok with Harris for two more years, then McMillan for two year and so on. I think we are finally fixing our qb issue after RP destroyed it. And garret was a knucklehead so I guess it was Garrett failure. But we will be good. We are good. Go essentially 9-3 in the sec west is not garbage by any means

I think 60-70 is crazy. Has LSU ever gave up 60 points. Just because you score a lot doesn't mean you have to give up a lot of points.

It would be nice to start a game with 3 touchdowns, a punt, and a fieldgoal instead of 5 punts and 14 runs up the middle.

Does anyone out there want to see what Cam could do with our offense if he is given a chance to implement a Cam offense?

Go look at LSU's "jump" offensively the year we hired Cam Cameron. Everyone forgets about this for some reason

Here's the flaw. Folks usually talk about the two units as though they are not interdependent. Remember tamu saying, "With our great offense and Chavis running the defense..."

Alx, not that I agree or even disagree with the 4th paragraph, but what would you say we do about the offense? Keep Cam and give him total control? Go out and get the TCU OC? Offer Lane Kiffen OC, and head coach in waiting? Just spitballing people, don't get your panties in a wad, but really Alx instead of saying it's wrong and the rant is crazy, what would YOU do?

There are lots of reasons I am not a coach. I was convinced Miles was gone. I am a Miles fan, but I would have been fine with that decision. Now that he is not leaving, I truly do not know what can be done because I do not know if the QBs we have are capable of running any offense.

I would like to see this. OTOH, if that is done, why even have a head coach?

Never-the dude is a joke.

I made a specific observation about one and only one paragraph. I never even hinted that I had a better idea.

Cam Cameron's offenses requires a Mett type talent to expose defenses. While that talent is available in larger demand at the NFL level, in college it's very rare. because of that inconsistency most years Cam's offense will be a square peg in a round hole here on anywhere he OC's at the collegiate level.
