Missouri. Decent team (nearly toppled Georgia - Georgia looks a lot like LSU in terms of being hyped but not living up to expectations). But we should win comfortably.

Does O unleash the weapons and keep his foot on the gas until the clock strikes 0:00? That is, if we're up 28-7 in the third quarter, is O trying to make it 45-7 or is he content with a 31-24 win?

My biggest beef with Miles was that he "respected the opponent" a little too much. Bobby Petrino would run Mizzou out of Tiger Stadium. I sincerely hope O will do the same.

If his time at USC was any indication he's not gonna go conservative once he's up two scores.

The good news is: Aranda is still in control of the defense, and our team is still stocked with talent. If CEO can get this tank out of the mud, other teams better look out.

We don't have a qb to run anyone out of the stadium...

Yes.

State is a great example. I don't want a head coach that will tolerate the last two Mississippi State games (*). When you are up on an inferior opponent, end them. Score, score, score. Don't calculate how much is "enough."

(*) One digression, this year's State game was a combination of a pulling your foot off the gas and players failing to execute; probably more so the latter if we're being fair to Les. But last year's State game was exactly this.

You are probably right. But then again, didn't Etling and Co. run Miss State out of the stadium for the first half of the game?

That was always my problem with Les also.
When he started kneeling against ole miss with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter; i wanted his head then.

How many times in the past when we actually had an offensive coordinator that we would start pulling away from someone then Les would step and and we would run 3 toss dives straight up the middle then punt and have a 24 point 1st half lead turn into a 4 point win. Football is about momentum, when you got it. You never slow down. Who cares if you put up a 60 spot on a team. They would do it to us if they could.

When does LSU ever win comfortably in the regular season, especially a conference game. Mizzou put up 79 pts last week, we have scored 85 the whole year. I don't care who you are playing against. We better come ready to play thats for damn sure, DBU has not lived up the name this year and this will be a test for sure, Drew Locke is a good QB.
