How good is Tony Clayton?

Is he the guy that most people fear in Baton Rouge? Is he the guy who is the biggest pain in the side of people? I really hope this judge is fair and honest and could look around the country to see the hypocrisy of the SEC.
To me this isn’t even about the NCAA anymore, it’s more about the SEC fighting fair.

Haven’t heard any bad things about him as a man and his character. Seems to be pretty sharp legal mind and a very determined one at that.

Tony is brilliant in the courtroom, especially with juries. Judge Jordan is a breath of fresh air on the bench, and he will do what he thinks the law compels him to do.

From what I hear he's extremely well respected and very competent at what he does

All of these attorneys across the country fighting for the players are talking with one another. So the Tom Mars assertion that it is this big bad assembly of SEC lawyers versus a solo attorney is baloney.

The Johnny Cochran of the south. If the rules are shite, you must acquit!

Quite possibly the best trial lawyer in the entire state

My stepdad was DA in a neighboring district. He’s always spoke highly of him. Idk what that means, just my 2 cents lol

You’re not wrong. Have had the pleasure of practicing with Tony, and he’s very compelling. Exceptional attorney.

NCAA sent some compliance officer to the Tx hearing as a witness. Got ripped apart.
Clayton did an interview and dared Sandly (then said whatever his name is) to show up as a witness for the SEC. Clayton will put in a mini- trial, name the issues and may amend that petition again.

He’s honestly the man.
He probably makes millions just letting people sign his name onto cases to scare insurance companies.

That would be awesome. I want to see him do this to an SEC compliance officer.

Same. Also got to meet Randall Gay who worked with him for a while - not sure if he still does.
