What are y’alls thoughts on this truck?

I can get one with the 5.3L ( wish it was 6.2) for $45,000 OTD. I don’t really need a new truck, currently have 2014 Silverado LTZ that is paid off. I bet I could get $25,000 trade in for which leaves me with a $20,000 note

It’s cheap because of the 5.3. No one wants one optioned that way. Same thing with Tundras. Never opt for a truck without the 5.7. 4.6 has no resale value.

$45k is an ok price I guess but still a lot of money for a truck that you don’t need. Plus I’d ante up for the 6.2L. The 5.3L is fine but if I’m paying for a new truck then I’m getting the 6.2.

Yep. Never get the small engine when you can get a bigger engine. The mpg aren’t even that different I don’t think.

2 or 4 wheel drive. If I can find one for $45k, I’ll go get myself an early Christmas gift

You may not like the ram, but I went from a 2014 Sierra into 2019 ram. For 45,000 you get alot more in the ram than the Denali.

The 5.3 isn’t really the small engine in this case. The 6.2 is the biggerer engine. Pretty sure you can get a 2.7 turbo 4 banger or a 4.6 V6 on lower tier models.

The 2500 gassers come with a 6.0.

Sierra is the finest, baddest(overall) looking truck out there. Silverado very close second. Not having a vehicle note is an amazing feeling. I wish I could say I have a 2014 paid off.
