Banned is a harsh word. I think the G5 should have their own playoff.

NIL has made the days of Boise beating Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl a thing of the past. It simply will not happen in today’s world of college football. All they did was take away spots from two deserving teams. And no matter how much they want to crow about it, Tulane and JMU were not one of the 12 best teams, they had no business in this playoff.

Why does this guy still have a platform? This nerd is wrong on almost everything he predicts and is just socially awkward on SEC Network.

How about it becomes actual college football again? Same academic standards for admission etc as regular students. No more preferential treatment for athlysince they're professionals now.

I’m ok with them being in if the BCS computers rank them in the top 12…

Did you just say the BCS? You realize that stopped being a thing over a decade ago?

Why was the G5 ever a thing anyway? Tulane and JMU are homecoming type games for the other 10 teams.

Because of January 1st 2007. That was the day the g5 thought they belonged with the big boys. Because one of them (Boise state) beat a highly ranked P5 team (Oklahoma) in the 2007 fiesta bowl.

P4 will split off and have their own playoff. G5 can have theirs too. Problem solved.
