How about making college football actually college football again? No preferential treatment for athletes. Get admitted like regular student.

Hate to admit it, but after this year's fiasco, that is certainly logical.

Or just get rid of the playoffs and make college football meaningful again.

Yeah they need to play in their championship. But there should not be a metric for one of them to get into the playoff with the big boys. That will accomplish nothing more than what we got last Saturday and in last years playoff, non competitive games that most people don't want to watch.

How about when they do get in the P5 schools must play their 2nd team?

How about a couple of +1 games? 14 team playoff, G5 gets a spot or two. This year, could have been Notre Dame vs Tulane and Texas vs JMU
