Gonna go round trip out of Barcelona and I’ve narrrowed it down to these two? I’m interested slightly more in the world Asia ship but I think I like Europa itinerary better(and it’s still a very nice ship) having Cinque Terre and Mallorca. I’m pretty torn and any feedback would be much appreciated.

Spending 1 day in all of those cities sounds like my personal version of hell.

Thanks. That’s def the better ship but both are in the world class fleet and complete monster mega ships. I was really leaning toward the other bc of the long Mallorca day at the end 9-9. I’m gonna front or back load the trip to spend a good 3 extra days in Barcelona as well.

Haven't been to Mallorca but Valletta was pretty awesome. Cinque Terre is too though

Thanks. Originally I told myself I didn’t want any stops of places I’d been before which several included Florence and Rome and I’d been to both but honestly I wouldn’t mind another day in Rome vs Naples. Last time it was on the end of a long trip with teenage boys and we were all super tired and grouchy by that point. Naples doesn’t interest me very much. I caught a train from there once and didn’t think it looked that interesting.

I did the same. It looked awful so I got in and got out. But if they give you time to get to Pompeii then it wouldn't be a bad stop

I agree re Naples the city, but Naples is one of my favorite cruise ports. We've done Pompeii, Capri and the Amalfi Coast from there on different occasions. All wonderful experiences.

Pompei and Almalfi are my top two options for naples as well. Get back in time for pizza in naples before boarding the ship and skip MDR dining that evening.

Nice. I ended up going with the one with Mallorca on it that swaps Naples for Rome. I really like the cinque terre and Mallorca ports. I’d like one port with a really nice beach and I think Mallorca from 9-9 would be sweet. Both world class ships are badass.

I’d prob like the world Asia better bc it’s brand new (debuts December this year ) and the Asian theming but I’ll deal. Got a deluxe balcony cabin on 11th deck. Had one on the 14th but then realized it was in a crap spot that was obstructed so I went down a few decks and towards the back. Food I hear isn’t as good as carnival but still not bad and I hear they have incredible pizza on MSC ships. I really wanted to round trip from a city that I’ve never been To and seemed interesting and I’ve always wanted to visit Barcelona. I’m gonna add a few days on the front or back so I’ll have time to really visit the city.
