Where to stay in Houston?

I rarely make it over to Houston but going in mid-September for a concert. Concert will be at House of Blues. Any recommended areas I should look to stay in for hotels and/or Airbnb?

I stayed at Club Quarters which is downtown last year for the Yankees game. Was a 3 block walk from Minute Maid Park several restaurants and bars as well. Hotel

Marriott Marquee is pretty sweet. There’s a nice Hilton there as well by Discovery Green. Lots to do in that area.
