Where to get an AirBnB for the Packers / Saints game?

Every year my buddies and I do a Packers road game and we're likely doing New Orleans this year (game is Dec 6). We like to rent an AirBnB to have more space, not be in a crowded hotel, and just get a quieter, more "local" trip. So we're trying to figure out which neighborhoods to rent in, which in addition to offering access and relative proximity to the dome, will also be safe (for New Orleans, at least). There will probably 4 of us traveling.
Here's what AI said for safe neighborhoods, not taking into account the reason for our trip:

Top Safe Neighborhoods for Airbnbs
Garden District/Uptown: Known for beautiful, secure residential streets, this area is highly recommended for safety, with easy access to the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line.
Algiers Point: A quiet, family-oriented neighborhood across the river with a 5-minute ferry ride to the French Quarter, offering a, quaint, and safe atmosphere.
Faubourg Marigny & Bywater: Located adjacent to the French Quarter, these areas are considered safer, walkable, and filled with Creole cottages, cafes, and local spots.
Arts/Warehouse District & CBD: Ideal for modern apartments close to museums, restaurants, and the Convention Center, often seen as safe for tourists.
Mid-City/Bayou St. John: A charming residential area near City Park that offers a more local feel while remaining close to top attractions

plenty of apartment options in the warehouse district and you’ll be walking distance to dozens of bars and restaurants

The thing with NOLA is that even in what you would consider a generally good neighborhood, it can change within a block
I'd have to see exactly where a particular place is located
Probably easiest to avoid that staying specifically in the CBD/Warehouse District/French Quarter, I guess.

yeah, that's what my buddy is texting right now...
"Playing around on street view in NO is wild with how things change with a quickness"

Get a place in the Warehouse District. In Mid City & Uptown you can have a 3 million dollar home one block away from a crack house. Don't take any chances. Warehouse District is great, mostly safe, & centrally located to everything.

Thanks for that perspective. That's likely the way we'll go. Since Ubers will likely be insane the morning of (because it's a noon kick and everyone arriving at the same time), is it walkable to the quarter from the WH district, or is there a streetcar or something we could take that would be easy, efficient, and safe?

Yes, I walk all the time from the Warehouse District to the Dome when I go to games. It is not that far.

That walk is fun on gamedays and weather will be nice in December
