We got back last night from a 6 hour drive from Texas. And there's no way my wife will allow us to drive that 12 hour drive

Is there any delineation between Regular and Pre for the long line? Do you have to get all the way to the back, and then it separates once you get down to that level?

I’m flying this morning at 11:40. I arrived around 8:30 at the request of airline/airport.

When I arrived there were two lines being called out: general and pre-check. One to left, the other to the right.

Neither line was terrible and it took me 30 minutes to get through pre-check. I’ve experienced worse on normal early morning Mondays.

Clear was also open. I think people just had to figure that out on their own though. No announcements being made about it.

It seems, at the time, they were directing people from baggage drop area though the elevators in short term parking and then having the lines split off on ground level.

So everyone is in the same line until it gets to ground level then it splits off?

At the time I got here, there were no lines until they split off. People were just funneled through one point of entry.

I am trying to figure out if the touchless id line is handling both, Clear and Touchless ID OR if they are just using the touchless id for clear only to get away from the TSA lines.
I’m about to board a flight out of MSY. When we checked our baggage, we were told there are 2 lines only. TSA had to go to the parking garage. Clear went straight to the Clear line. It took me less than 5 minutes. You have to show your Clear App to use the stairs/escalator to the line.

I am seriously considering moving my flight to BR next Tuesday. I’ve never flown out of BR.

Sounds like there is likely a vote on Thursday to pay them. I said this week would be make or break week and its looking that way.

I'd bet TSA is funded by next week, it will just depend on how quickly the workers show up.

I'm flying out of MSY with two kids on Easter night. Driving not an option.

Hoping this gets resolved soon, but I'm guessing with the timing of things I should be okay even with a Sunday since flight doesn't leave until 8pm

There's been something like 5 votes to date. All failed

If anything like yesterday, it's bad. The lines go down to the basement level where the tram runs. My friend was going to see her LSU daughter who is studying abroad in Ireland and got to the airport 5 hours ahead of time. She got to her gate 15 minutes before they began boarding.

2 Rodeo friends spent 4 hours in line. One made his flight with a little time to spare. One waited in line for 4 hours and then had her flight cancelled!

This has got to give. We should be rioting in DC over the stupidity of all our leaders doing this to the people. Take their pay, make them wait.

We are doing the same the next morning with 2 kids. I have a hotel room booked near by so we don't have to leave as early from Houma.

Yes, before the deal was reached that they are touting... Vote will be Thursday.

ICE pay is pulled out and will be pushed through via reconciliation.

Yesterday (Tuesday) was not bad at all at MSY. Less than 5 minutes through clear and regular TSA looked to be maybe 15-20 minute line. This was around 3pm.

Sounds like the "agreement" they had has fallen through and Schumer and his ilk keep moving the goal posts.

Yeah that is not surprising at all. They know the public is not blaming them despite it being their fault, so they are going to leverage as much as possible

Well Houston f’ing sucks. Missed my connection flight and had to get rental car to drive home.

This mind you was after arriving to Houston from an international flight. For some reason, you now have to get through customs and then go back through TSA check point. Dumbest shite I’ve experienced in a long long time. Waited mf over 2 hours before I missed connection

Vote failed again yesterday.

They will miss their next paycheck. So prepare to go from bad to worse
