Haven't been in forever and planning a trip with my GF and some friends. Plan was just to go to the regular park, but thinking about the water park too now.

LINK

It's 4 season gold passes for 65 dollars each. Free parking and other discounts for both regular and water park.

What's the cheapest you can get a ticket for just a day to the regular park these days? From what I gathered around 45 dollars.

Used to go to the 6 flags in New Jersey all the time during middle school and high school. That season pass wound up being the best birthday present I'd get every year. Cost for park entry was like $60 but the season pass was $80 (looks like your pricing is a bit lower). Main advantages were the parking pass, the pass holders only hours, and the bring a friend for free coupons or discounts. If I lived close to a 6 flags I would easily get a season pass again

Every year, cheapest sale occurs right before labor day. It will cover the rest of 2018 and entire 2019.

Good deal. That would easily pay for itself within 2 visits.

Dude..... Have you been recently? I made the mistake of taking some teenagers there a couple of summers ago. Wow. It sure has changed since I had been there many years ago. Seems the residents of ATL use the park over the summer as a type of daycare. I'd never go back during the summer.

FWIW, bought the grandkids and their mom season passes last year(they include Whitewater).

They went 3 times last year and didn't want passes for this year due to the packs of teens running around making everyone's experience uncomfortable and not very family friendly, they often felt intimidated by others actions and language waiting on rides and just walking around the park...

Just their experience, maybe others were different...

I went a couple of years ago. Only thing different I noticed was more black teenagers there just to hang out. Some acting poorly, some not. It didn't put a damper on our visit. We did go towards the end of the summer on a Wednesday or Thursday and it wasn't very crowded. Maybe it's different on a crowded day.

We live like a mile from White Water and get the passes every year. Six Flags is fine, have never had any negative experience with the people or these packs of roving teens and we go probably 6-7 times a year. Of course my kids are younger so maybe we just aren't in the same areas.

White Water is awesome for like 2 hours if you get there before it opens on a weekday. By noon it's completely disgusting and the thought of being in the same water as some of those people makes me sick and the lines are way too long.

On their website, the price to get one at the park is $70. Six flags is one of those places where they pretty much make you buy a season pass. I have a season pass to magic mountain near Los Angeles.

You might be able to get cheaper tickets, but it doesn’t seem like you’ll save much at all by going the day pass route. Plus, you’ll get to go to the park again if you don’t get a chance to do everything on your visit.

This was our experience as well.

It should be good for most six flags too, including magic mountain.
