Wondering if anyone has been out to Summit County recently - Breck, Frisco, Dillon, etc. - and how are things on the ground. Heading to Breck with the family for 2 weeks in mid-July. I've been seeing social media posts where restaurants are open with limited capacity; hoping that improves over the coming weeks. What about bars? Other than that we will be mostly outdoors golfing, biking and hiking.

Was there last weekend. There were lots of people. Main Street in breckenridge is barricaded off and all of the bars and restaurants are open into the street. Outer range brewery was open, you have to wear a mask when walking around the brewery but can take it off at your table. We tried to rent bikes and do the vail pass but you have to have a reservation if you are going to be taking a shuttle. if you are just wanting to walk in and get a bike you can do that.

A family member has been in Summit for the last two weeks. All is good. plenty to do and the towns are opening up. Have fun.

Haven’t been to this one yet. I see it’s in Frisco by the Wal-Mart and I70. We always visit Breck Brewery and Broken Compass. Have also been to Highside Brewing in Frisco near the marina. Now I’ve got a new brewery to try on this trip, thanks!

it’s a great brewery. They have probably 20 beers on the menu, 12ish are IPA. Killer beers

It fuggin rocks. Great place to spend a few hours. But the building is tiny, I wonder how many people they are allowing in.

It’s my favorite one in summit. Go there every weekend when I go ski

I’m in the minority and I’ve tried to like it but I hate their beers at Outer Range. I get hop burn in every damn one.
Is Breckenridge requiring mask to entire everywhere? I was in Carbondale, Crested Butte and BV recently and they weren’t messing around. No mask no entry anywhere.

Not sure. I would imagine so. The mountain communities are being very protective, as they should be. I’ll be camping in Telluride in 2 weeks and I am imaging a strict rule.

This has been the case in Durango, Ouray, Gunnison, and Salida. No mask, no entry.

That’s how it is here, lots of talk about folks from new hotspots bringing it back here. We were an early outbreak location and even had the first case in the state across the street from my house. We shut down before the rest of the state and have been slower in opening up.
Wearing masks is expected and isn’t political up here, just looking out for your neighbors so it’s still required in all stores.
Frisco and Breck both have promenades set up on their man streets. Usually you must wear a mask when entering a restaurant but you may take it off at the table. Most indoor seating is still limited as well as the number of customers allowed in stores.
