Suggestions Needed - 3 to 4 Day Trip from North MS

Hey guys, my wife and I are looking for suggestions for a 3-4 day trip over Thanksgiving. We'll be leaving from Oxford and do not want to drive further than 6 hours. Flying is not an option.
We both like to be outdoors and our plan right now is to rent a cabin in the mountains near a lake/river so that we have easy access to fishing and hiking. However, we are also open to hearing suggestions for any cities/towns that are good places to visit for a few days.
We've done some research on Tallulah Falls, GA and Hot Springs.
We've already been to the following: Nashville, New Orleans, Little Rock, Memphis, Birmingham, Chattanooga, Gatlinburg.
Thanks for any suggestions!

You can stay in Helen, Ga and hit Tallulah Gorge, gotta hike down in there to have fun. Tons of hiking in the area. Horse Trough, Davis Creek...another cool thing to do is go fly fishing with the guides from Unicoi Outfitters.
Might want to start planning the trip from the outfitters, I bet they know of a cool arse place to rent. Helen can be a PITA. Hiking is easy.

Grand Harbor Condominiums, Pickwick lake on the Mississippi/Tennessee line.
Grand Harbor
You can also hike in JP Coleman State Park outside of Iuka, MS. There's a beautiful waterfall on the lake, largest in state I believe.

Don't do this. Lots of better places to see in Arkansas.

Muscle Shoals, Sipsey Wilderness, area.
Natchez Trace in NW Alabama is great. Stop by the Hendrix Wall at MP 336 (or maybe it's 338), spend the night in downtown Florence. Go spend a day exploring the waterfalls in the Sipsey Wilderness and then head to Huntsville.
I also enjoy Tishomingo State Park, but you have probably been there before.

We've been to Tishomingo State Park twice this year, really enjoy it as well! Never heard of the Sipsey Wilderness, will check it out. Thanks!

Well... I like it.
Arkansas is lucky to have so many great state parks....very RV and primitive camp friendly.

Just got back from the Eureka Spings, AR area. Stayed in an awesome little cabin on Beaver lake in Garfield, AR (Lost Bridge Village). It's a little farther than you want to drive but I've never heard a bad review from people that have gone to that area.
