I’m locked in to a trip to the redneck riviera. After I play my round of golf where should I hang out. For now all I’ve got is Hooters

Rent some jet skis and hit up Robinson Island during the day night hit up the Flor. If Uncle Earl is playing then go to his show.

I just spent a week down there for work and found it to be pretty damn pleasant.
lots of cool places to hang out to eat/drink stretched along the road from Gulfport to Biloxi. I had some beers and food at Shaggy's my last night there and it was a pretty cool scene. I think they have live music sometimes, too.
-take a day excursion to ship island, which is an island out in the gulf. read up on it to be sure you bring what you need to bring, though.
-there are some nice beaches down towards Biloxi...rent a chair and umbrella for the day.
-there are several nice casinos at Biloxi...check them out if you like to gamble or want some pretty damn good food/nightlife.
-check to see if there are any concerts or comedians at any of the casinos or at the gulf coast coliseum that you would like.
-ride over to ocean springs...very cool little entertainment district there. park your car and walk from restaurant to restaurant while eating/drinking a different course of your meal at each stop.
-visit the Seabee museum in Gulfport
-Tour the home of confederate president Jefferson Davis (it is called Beauvoir). I haven't been there, but the place is just beautiful.
-Just ride down beach blvd and dream of having enough cash to live in one of those mansions!
I'll post more when it think of more....
ETA: I was up pretty early for work, and while driving beach blvd, I could see a lot of fish swirling around and feeding off the beach. I would get out a little early one morning just to see some wildlife.
ETA 2: I am also a dumbass!

That's all solid for Gulfport, but he said Gulf Shores.

It's a sad Hooters. Not because of size but because it is poorly ran. Give me and my current management team a year and we could transform that store

Grab a beer or 3 at big beach brewing. It’s a small quaint brewery in gulf shores

Yep. I made an excuse every day I was down there a few weeks ago to get out of the house and go grab a beer here. Beer wasn't really outstanding, but a cool place to kill an hour or two and have a beer or two.

Get lunch downstairs at Fisher's (Orange Beach Marina) then go to Flora Bama late afternoon for bushwhackers and people watching

One of my favorites was some woman who kept asking the singer-guitarist gal at the afternoon show, in a hick accent, “Do you remember me?”
I wanted her to say, “Sure. Out of all the fat arse 60 year old drunk white women who come through here day after day, I remember your dumb arse from last summer because you are so special.”
