Technically Montrose a little more than an hour away. I’d shite my pants flying a 737 into Telluride with the drop off at the end of the runway.

Yeah, it's Montrose. I think there is only one little regional carrier that flies in and out of TEX.

Yep! But it’s actually not possible to get a 737 into Telluride.

You must not have to fight an hour plus traffic filled drive to get to Hobby. 30 min to Bush is so much easier.

For the Energy Corridor Hobby is a much easier airport - Sam Houston tollway has very little traffic, it's a little longer distance than driving through downtown, but a much saner route.

Southwest has been at IAH before, but this along with ORD, and MIA is a big move away from their original business model. Amazing how times have changed.

Living inside the loop has benefits. Plus, Hobby is a breeze to get through. I leave my house 75 minutes before my flight leaves and usually have time to grab a water before we board.

Same here. Living in The Woodlands is much easier flying out of Bush than having to go through downtown or using 610 to Hobby.

This is true, while Hobby is convenient in getting to the medical corridor.

Agreed. I'm in Cypress. It's about as far as you can possible get from Hobby.
