What time is the flight? You're at MSY right? Everything is cancelled to DAL until the 6:20pm flight and even then there's 100% chance of thunderstorms in dallas from 8pm-midnight. I'd drive and start now

My last post for you is bottom of last page, but I am seeing a seat on Orlando-New Orleans on the 9:40pm flight that is delayed to 11:40pm. That'd at least get you out of MCO since there is nothing for MCO-HOU even tomorrow (Monday)

There are 3 tomorrow night to New Orleans on 1329, leaves Orlando at 8:55pm arrives MSY at 9:40pm. I'm trying to see if there's anything better

If you can, I'd rebook to that online and then figure out if anything better shows up.

Ugh I found a good one but can't find a way for you to get further. Orlando to Kansas City tomorrow morning at 7:15am on 1862, arriving MCI at 9:10am. Problem is there's nothing from MCI-Houston

Another option is to somehow get to Denver tomorrow before 8:50pm. I see there's >7 seats on Southwest 694 Monday night, leaves Denver at 8:50pm arriving Houston at 12:05am. We have to find a way to get you there first

Yeah we’re going pick up the rental now.

Thanks, Cuse. You’re good people.

Good luck getting home, alum wanna be.

I got one finally. Tampa to Austin, tomorrow morning on Southwest 2454 leaves Tampa 7:40am arrives Austin 9:15am. 5 seats remaining. Not a long drive from Orlando to Tampa and I think getting to Austin early in the day will let you get back at a reasonable hour

Timing wise, no clue on how long. Crews are probably in the wrong cities still for their upcoming schedules, could see it being a few days. Just looked up rental cars and I see one can be rented today for $277 from MCO-HOU, rent at 1pm turn it in tomorrow by 12:45pm. You may want to go this route, not sure I trust southwest currently

Haha that’s funny I thought they’d have a rental car for me since I booked one. Nope.

The nightmare continues.

Do we need to go back to flight options? Also, just for everyones sake, do NOT look up baseball player yelling frick under gif. I'm pretty much scarred for life after what turned up in the search bar. Had to scrub my eyes and search history

My 70 year old parents are planning to fly from Baltimore to MSY on Tuesday via Southwest. I doubt they even know this is going on. Should I book them another flight now or hold out until Tuesday?

Southwest Vacations has called us. Then hold and hung up. They had Tuesday 9:50p-1115p.

Update as typing the agent booked it.

We “have” a flight Southwest. Tuesday 950-1115.

What do u think are the chances?

Shows one seat left. But they seem to be all getting delayed.

I’m on it. Wife on the earlier flight for now.

She’s booked on 3618 and I’m booked on 3936. Both delayed already. Who knows what will happen.

Also standing in line at another car rental place. Ah

I wish I had a good answer right now, but I don't have one. Up in the air as to whether more pilots call in sick this week or even the air traffic controllers in Jacksonville. I'd probably book the nonstop on United out of Dulles just to have a good backup, likely a lot more money ($250/person) but at least they'll get down there?

I'd get out on the first flight you can tomorrow, would've pushed for the Tampa to Austin tomorrow morning but I definitely understand not wanting to have to figure out that much travel coordination last minute. Chances wise, really no clue. I don't think anyone was expecting a pilot sick out

I think you can go free standby on southwest so maybe you can get on that earlier one at the airport. What rental car company? I'm taking a look online here but it says no cars are available at any company...

We went to them all. No cars without reservations prior to 7:30am this morning.

I’m just hoping those flights take off though. Don’t want to sit around airport just for those to get canceled at like 2-3 pm.

I see a seat on your wife's flight again, 1 left. Flight inventory is a hot commodity on days like today

Yeah I hope you don't get cancelled. At this point, you may just want to go into Kenner or the city, have a few drinks or lunch, and head back to the airport in a few hours. I looked up buses, rental cars, trains, other airlines and you better pray these southwest flights take off.
