First time headed up to that area. What's some good stuff to do up there?

we are doing the titanic museum, waterfall hike and wine tasting.

Any other suggestions

My family really enjoyed the horseback riding through the mountains.
Also, we always spend a day/night in Gatlinburg just for the cheesy tourist trap that it is. It's like a time warp back to the 60's. Ice skating at Ober Gatlinburg is a fun trip.

We enjoyed checking out the Old Mill and eating breakfast there a couple of years ago. Still ordering biscuit mix and sorghum syrup from them.

Best advice - eat an ENORMOUS breakfast at one of the MANY pancake houses. The cooking in that part of the country is horrible for lunch and dinner.

There are two kinds of people. Those who see that as a fantastic day, and those who see it as a circle of hell.

That's awesome, I'll be scouting some areas when we go this winter. Strongly considering retiring out in that area.

OP check out the sky coasters, couple of good moonshine places (we liked Old Forge), wife loves checking out the pottery shops (her favorite is Alewine), and you're not far from TN/NC State line along the app trail

Following this thread. Wife and I booked a cabin between pigeon forge and gatlinburg in January.

We'll spend most of our time in the cabin. But may venture out for beer and moonshine

Chimney top trail is awesome

Dolly wood is fun for a day

Sky bridge is new and has great views

Zip lines, brewery hopping etc... Tons of stuff to see and do that'll require more than 1 trip

Cades Cove is a must. As someone else mentioned Elvira's is good. Had a couple of cute Russian girls in there last year. There is a cavern tour you can do if you have a rainy day.
